I am always a fan of gray; and this blue is a perfect fit! The font also meshes quite well.

Congratulations on the win! Great logo!

actually i prefer my previous concept, more technical, unusual & complex, but the contest holder asked to make it simple, with rounded corner. thanx anyway... :)

Sometimes though simplicity isn't a bad thing though- and everybody sees and likes different things and has kind of their own tastes in styles I guess you could say? I was always taught in design you can make complexity through simplicity snd while maybe it is more simplistic- it still stands out and creates a sense of complexity. Either way still good work- I know how you feel though liking a previous design more unusual and complex though. :)

it's really hard to understand other people want, like, taste, so became a designer is a tough job. pushing my point of view, mostly ended up in failure.

Very true. I know sometimes I often put out placeholder designs which are throw-togethers while I work on content, and often sometimes feel embarrassed when clients end up using them as actual logos and their new identities. I could not agree more though- there are a lot of designs I personally like that others often don't, and vice versa. It can be a tough field because of that as well. You could always create logo designs or generic logos and sell them yourself- I did that and had some luck. If you have spare designs sitting around never know who might be interested.

crowdsourching is the only way i know how to earn some money from designing. but sometimes it can be frustating. no feedback, poor rating, runner up is the common problem. but still, it more better than working as a full designer in my country (mostly the paid is very low). can u give me some clue to become a successful designer like u ? i got no formal education in design by the way.
